Why apply for a grant?
As a parent, you want to provide your child an opportunity to live to their fullest potential. So when it comes to providing them the necessary therapies like occupational, physical, and speech they are not cheap. Parents also realize that their child may need more than just a handful to make any kind of impact in their development. In fact, some children may need certain therapies for the rest of their lives.
Applying for a grant to subsidize the cost of therapy could make a difference in your child’s development success.
Before You Get Started…
Special and Determined is a 501C-3 Non-Profit Organization and while we seek to assist as many families as possible with our financial grants, we urge all applications to first research and understand the state support available to them at no cost. Families should only apply for the Special and Determined grant after exploring and exhausting state funding. You can view these state agencies here.
